Ballet Fit®is taught by experienced dancers and fitness professionals to ensure proper technique, progression and injury prevention.
Creator and Founder, Suzy has an extensive background in professional ballet training from the School of Alberta Ballet and the University of Calgary's BA (Ballet) Dance Program. She is a certified Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor who has a deep love for movement, music and helping others live healthy & active lifestyles.
Suzy has over 20 years in ballet training from exceptional teachers and mentors including Shirley Agate Proust, Jean Grand-Maître, Wendy Wright, Murray Kilgour and Nancy Kilgour. She has over 15 years experience teaching ballet to children, teenagers and adults. Her passion has lead her to choreograph and perform various shows through out the years.
Suzy has spent the last 11 years in the fitness industry working with a wide range of clients varying in age, fitness levels, injuries and goals.
Ballet Fit® combines her passion for dance, fitness and electronic music for a unique and engaging workout that vastly improves posture, grace, coordination, body awareness as well as strength and well-toned muscles.
Suzy's high energy and positive attitude is contagious as she strives to inspire each client to lead healthy and active lifestyles. She is committed not only to help clients achieve their fitness goals, but also to improve their overall quality of life. Her warm and supportive approach to fitness makes clients feel comfortable and motivated to overcome challenges.
